RAFAEL E. CASTILLA is Director of Investments and Structuring at the University of Michigan, focusing on direct venture capital transactions,
and has lectured on Investment Management Law at the University of Michigan Law School. Rafael will hold an interactive talk on the role
of university endowments, including UM's $22 billion endowment, as well as current models for investing,
His highly regarded book reflects on the 200th anniversary: "The Evolution of Investing at the University of Michigan 1817-2016".
Rafael is a graduate of Yale Law School (J.D. 1992) and Harvard College (A.B. 1989).
We will partake in an exclusive dinner and network in the sophisticated Executive Boardroom.
